Salvatore brings years of experience to Savannah's menu of gourmet Southern
foods. Whet your appetite with one of our mouth-watering appetizers like
Seared Black Bean Cakes with green tomato salsa and sour cream or our Fried
Green Tomatoes served over ham-and-cheese grit cakes and finished with goat
cheese, pecans, and a roasted red pepper puree. For your entree you may find
it tough to choose from our famous Shrimp and Grits with large shrimp
sautaed in a Tasso ham, tomato, and basil creame sauce and served over cheese
grits; or perhaps you would prefer jambalaya made from our traditional
recipe. Or a heavenly New York strip steak slathered with pimento cheese,
sure to make a Philly cheese steak take a back seat. Or traditional Southern
favorites like Mississippi Fried Catfish dipped in yellow mustard, encrusted
in cornmeal, topped with sautaed peppers and onions, and served with a side
of Remoulade sauce accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes and fresh collard
greens. Or our Buttermilk Fried Chicken stuffed with goat cheese and fresh
herbs, topped with cracked pepper gravy served with garlic mashed potatoes
and collard greens. You're certain to find something you love, but save room
for dessert! We have Mama D's Bread Pudding with fruited rum sauce or our
Pineapple Upside-Down Cake is the best anywhere. Perhaps you're feeling
decadent and want to finish your experience with our White & Dark Chocolate
Terrine with roasted almonds, pecans, and a fresh raspberry coulee. And of
course you'll need something to "wash it all down!" We offer great flavored
sweet teas and fresh fruit juices but our Juleps, with your choice of rum,
bourbon, vodka or tequila, made with muddled mint, fresh lime and sugar are
our specialty. They will make you think it's always Derby Day!
